Distruction of the EV1 fleet After seizing the EV1 vehicle fleet from their leaseholders the General Motors Corporation (GM) crushed every available EV1 at a remote desert location in AZ in 2005. These actions were documented as photographed below. This behavior was seen by many as a demonstration of how far corporate America is willing to go to ensure US dependence on high-profit pollution-ridden non-renewable fuels in spite of the known risks to our nation’s health and long term national security. pictures c2005 |
